BIRDING TOUR IN NORTH INDIA
The biodiversity of India is exemplified by its birds. About 8,650 bird species, representing 27 living Orders and 155 Families, have been described in the world so far. Of this total, India has over 1,200 species from 20 Orders and 17 Families. That makes it one sixth of the world’s total avian diversity on a land mass only one fiftieth of the earth !
